Still Got It All: ACE Celebrates 40 Years with SM Supermalls

It began in 1985 with the opening of SM City North EDSA, the first SM Supermall in the country. It was more than a mall; it was a bold new way of bringing shopping, leisure, and community together in one place.

Now, 40 years later, SM is marking this milestone with a nationwide celebration, and ACE is honored to be part of it.

From One Store to Hundreds of Helpful Moments

ACE opened its first store in 1997 inside SM Southmall, Las Piñas. What started as a single store has now grown into over 230 locations across the Philippines, many of them inside SM malls. It’s been a journey of helping more people, in more places, with the support of a partner that shares our values.

We’re especially proud to have one of our largest stores inside SM North EDSA where the SM Superstore’s story began. It’s a meaningful symbol of how far we’ve come together.
